Animation of the Multi-Mission Optimally Interpolated Sea Surface Salinity (OISSS) 7-day level 4 global dataset based on the AQUARIUS/SAC-D, SMAP and SMOS level 2 mission data gridded on a 0.25 degree spatial grid with a weekly time scale. The dataset covers the period from August 2011 to present, and is produced by the Earth and Space Research (ESR), Seattle and International Pacific Research Center (IPRC), University of Hawaii at Manoa in collaboration with Remote Sensing Systems (RSS), Santa Rosa, California. The dataset can be accessed from the PO.DAAC Portal at Multi-Mission Optimally Interpolated Sea Surface Salinity Global Dataset V2| Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC).
